April 3: COVID-19 Update
I hope you and your families are remaining safe and healthy throughout the Coronavirus pandemic. Each day we are reassessing the safety measures we have undertaken to protect our members and employees through this unprecedented event. I thank you for your flexibility and patience as we balance those measures with maintaining the highest service levels possible. We are in this together!
Our Call Center is receiving extremely high levels of telephone calls, so we have shifted some of our team members to respond to your requests for service. The easiest way to contact us is through our website https://www.wpccu.org/get-help-form, as we have formed a dedicated team who can respond quickly to your service requests through this method. We have many programs and solutions available for those who may be experiencing decreased income or job loss, so you can focus on your family and your health and not worry about your auto or mortgage payment.
We have three branches open for business Monday-Friday, and will be closed Saturday and Sunday indefinitely (hours of business vary, please see below). We are following public health official guidance and social distance practices by limiting the number of people in our branches at any one time. We have outfitted our branch teams with gloves, and within the next few days will have protective panels at desk areas and stylish masks for each employee. Our branch services are so essential to many of our members and so we have instituted a bonus pay program for the wonderful folks who are working in them.
We remain a strong, resilient and stable institution with over $68 million in capital and are ready to help you now and in the future once we return to normal. I thank you for sending so many compliments and kudos for our WPCCU team and encourage you to continue reaching out me at ceo@wpccu.org Take good care, be well and stay safe.
