Savings Certificates
The highest yields for you
Also called Certificates of Deposit (CD), WPCCU savings certificates pays the credit union’s highest dividend rate, compounded daily and paid quarterly.
They also have the benefit of a wide range of term options, from very short to many years. This makes it easy to stagger, or ladder your investments as it is known by financial professionals, so they don’t all mature at once. Laddering also gives you flexibility to react to changes in the interest rate markets.
You can see the various terms and current WPCCU savings certificate rates below.
Flexible options, low minimum balance requirement
Just $1,000 is needed to open a WPCCU savings certificate. And you also have the added benefit of using your non-IRA savings certificate as collateral for consumer loans. This means your share certificate has extra value.
Easy open
Your savings certificate can be opened at either a WPCCU branch office, or at 5,000+ CO-OP shared credit union branches nationwide. Find the CO-OP shared branch location nearest you.
