New

What's new in 2025?

  • On January 1, 2025, the minimum wage in California increases to $16.50 per hour.
  • On March 14, 2025, planet earth will be positioned exactly between moon and sun, causing a Full Lunar Eclipse. This phenomenon is also know as "Blood Moon", as earth's shadow will give the moon an orangish, reddish hue. It will be visible in the Americas, the Pacific, Western Europe, and Western Africa. • There're plenty of new movies coming out in 2025. The film experts at IMDb complied a helpful list of upcoming titles for the New Year. Find out more on IMDB.

Fraud

Don't let Fraudsters trick you

Start the New Year by staying vigilant against fraud. Read on to learn how you can protect yourself for a safe and secure year ahead.

1. Verify your contact information

Be sure that we have your current information. This helps us contact you in case of suspicious activity. You can verify your account information through Online/Mobile Banking or by giving us a call at 800-300-9728.

2. Strengthen your login credentials

Updating passwords regularly is important to keep your personal information and Online/Mobile Banking account access secure. In addition to your phone’s biometric or facial ID, enable multi-factor authentication for extra security. You can even add a password to your accounts when you contact us for phone/in-person assistance. Give us a call to get started.

3. Setup account alerts

Be alerted to receive the latest updates on your account, including transaction alerts and more. Log into Online Banking or WPCCU's Mobile App to set up alerts for your WPCCU accounts.

4. Consider freezing your credit report or placing a fraud alert

Credit freezes and fraud alerts can protect you from identity theft or help prevent misuse of stolen personal information. Learn more on the webpage of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC)
