Water and Power Community Credit Union will never request sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, Online Banking PINs, passwords, account numbers, card numbers, or account balances by email, text message or phone.
Please beware of solicitors who ask for sensitive information as they pose as WPCCU representatives. Don't trust Caller ID as phone numbers can be spoofed and may not be from the business they're calling from, including WPCCU. If you receive an email or text message, phone call or any other forms of solicitation requesting your personal information, please contact Water and Power Community Credit Union immediately: 800-300-9728 or 213-580-1600.
IMPORTANT FRAUD ALERT: There has been an increase in fraudulent activity affecting WPCCU members. Beware of scammers claiming to be from WPCCU and asking to verify your card details--last few digits of card number, CVV number on the back of the card, and balance information. DO NOT RESPOND. Contact a WPCCU representative immediately at 800-300-9728 or 213-580-1600 or submit a fraud report here.
