2022 was a record year for Water and Power Community Credit Union with the support of our over 43,500 members. WPCCU continued to be a trusted financial partner to our members and the communities we serve in the county of Los Angeles. Over the course of the year, we provided our members with access to a wide range of lending products to help them with everything from buying or refinancing a home, to purchasing their dream car to financing renewable solar energy. In 2022, we said yes to our members, extending them over $140 million dollars in loans, which was an increase of $5 million over 2021. This was also a new record for the credit union. At the same time, WPCCU members trusted us with over $851 Million of their money, which was almost unchanged from the 2021 total of $852 million.

WPCCU ended 2022 well capitalized

As our members’ trusted financial partner, WPCCU ended 2022 well capitalized with a net worth of $74.3 million. This puts the credit union in a solid position to continue our mission of being our members’ trusted financial partner. We look forward to continuing to support our communities and members in 2023. We are grateful for the opportunity to help our members achieve their financial independence in 2023 and beyond.
