In memory of Craig Luna

Former Chair of the Board and Supervisory Committee

Craig Luna became a part of the credit union family in 1994 when he worked closely with many WPCCU staff members as a member of the Loan and Collection Committees. After his tenure on those committees, he was elected to serve on the Supervisory Committee from 2011-2014 and the Board of Directors from 2014 to the present.

At the time of his death, Craig was enjoying retirement and spending time with his family.  Craig also had a long and distinguished career with the LADWP as the Chief Real Estate Officer. He was incredibly knowledgeable and always jovial, professional and fair. He was extremely astute in looking at situations with a fresh and sometimes different perspective.  By doing this, he encouraged everyone to think out of the box. 

He was an inspiration to all of us and will greatly be missed. He leaves behind three sons that he was incredibly proud of.
