2023 was another banner year for Water and Power Community Credit Union with the support of our over 44,900 members. WPCCU continued our mission we started in 1936, to be the trusted financial partner to our members. Over the course of the year, we provided our members with access to a wide range of lending products to help them with everything from buying a home to purchasing their dream car to financing renewable solar energy. In 2023, we said yes to our members by extending them over $100 Million dollars in loans for the second year in a row. At the same time,  WPCCU members trusted us with over $824 Million of their money, which was a 3% decrease from the record high in 2022 of $851 Million.

As our members’ trusted financial partner, WPCCU ended 2023 well-capitalized with net worth of $82.7 Million. This puts the credit union in a solid position to continue our mission of being our members’ trusted financial partner. We look forward to continuing to support our members and communities in 2024. We are grateful for the opportunity to help our members achieve their financial goals in 2024 and beyond.
