5 Fun things to do in spring this year
Spring is also a great time to get out and enjoy the season. Here are some fun activities to try:
-
Visit one of Southern California's theme parks. Many theme parks have reopened and are welcoming visitors with new rides and entertainment.
-
Catch a baseball game. The MLB season begins in March, and it's a great time to see your favorite players back in action.
-
Explore the hiking trails in Los Angeles and San Bernardino County. Check out Discover Los Angeles or the San Bernardino National Forest Service websites for some great hikes.

Attend a local food festival. From the 626 Night Market in Santa Monica to other local festivals, there are plenty of opportunities to try new foods and have fun.

Celebrate butterfly season. The Western monarch butterflies are returning to Southern California, and the Kidspace Children's Museum in Pasadena offers lots of fun activities to celebrate.
At WPCCU: Your voice matters!
Coming soon: We are excited to introduce our new "Voice of the Member" survey initiative. Later this spring, we will start sending short email surveys periodically to gather feedback from you, our valued member. This feedback will help us to better understand your service experience and allows us provide personalized service that makes your financial life better.
By participating in the Voice of the Member surveys, you will have the opportunity to provide your feedback, and help us to continue to provide the high level of service you have come to expect from WPCCU.
Important to know: The surveys are random, so you may or may not receive an invite in the coming months. But if you do receive one, this is your opportunity to submit your feedback to us.
If you see a survey in your email inbox please fill it out and share your honest thoughts and suggestions with us. We value your input and appreciate your time in completing the survey. Questions? Contact us here.
We’re celebrating Youth Month in April! Young members, their parents or grandparents (joint to the account), who make a deposit in any amount to their account will receive a special gift when visiting a branch (while supplies last).
When a deposit of at least $25 is made to a new or existing youth savings or MyStart Teen Checking, they’ll receive puzzle cube. With a deposit up to $50, they’ll get a spinner pen, and for a total deposit of $100 to their youth account they’ll earn a plush puppy and collect all three! * Plus, they’ll be entered into a national drawing for a chance to win $100! ** See official rules for details.
The theme this year is “Save small, dream big” showcasing fun, retro-inspired characters. Teaching savings young has proven that if you start with small goals, youth savings can become a regular habit. This year’s Youth Month inspires children to begin saving the money they earn so they can attain their dreams of a happy future.
Help teach them to save for the future with a WPCCU Kirby Kangaroo savings or MyStart Teen Checking account! Click the button below to learn more, or call us at 800-300-9728.
